"Unhappily, the Hermit was not really as HOLY as he seemed."
I find this (probably) unintentionally hilarious. A+ illustration and caption, especially with no further context.

Lady of the Lake
My try on the very popular subject. Always wanted to draw/paint/digital her, but never really managed to.Also, I decided to stay in touch with my faithful watercolors, after almost a year of break from using them. The main reason was, that it takes me a lot of time to paint anything this way. I don’t really know if it’s just me, or watercolors are really such time-absorbing techniqe. Still, I really enjoy this kind of painting.

Sally Hansen Triple Shine in 140 “Drama Sheen”

Drama sheen was my most recent nail polish purchase. Last week I was able to pick is up pretty inexpensively at Target (Canada), which was nice since I’ve had my eye on it for a while. It’s a sheer, pearly lilac colour with a shimmer that… most bloggers are calling darker purple, but it looks more magenta to me. The formula is pretty transparent on its own, but can be built up over three layers. I wore two coats (semi-sheer coverage) for a few days this week and was pretty impressed with the beautiful finish and the lack of chipping and tip-wear from such an affordable polish.

Drama Sheen is a great, understated way to jump on the Pantone Radiant Orchid trend this spring whether it’s used on it’s own or as a topcoat.

"One Day More," Korean cast, June 3rd 2013

The cast, to the best of my knowledge:

Jean Valjean: Chung Sung-hwa
Javert: Moon Jong-won
Thénardier:
Im Choon-gil
Mme. T: Park Jun-myun
Marius: Jo Sang-woong
Enjolras: Kim Woo-hyung
Eponine: Park Ji-yeon
Cosette: Lee Ji-soo

Oooh. This is great. Only (non-) complaint is that I feel like this Javert needs a grey streak in his hair, just for aesthetic reasons. </weird opinions>

I also couldn’t help noticing that the French flag wasn’t flown at all; not surprising given where this production is from, but wow. What a conspicuously absent prop. That almost felt like trying to stage Hamlet without the skull in the “poor Yorick” scene. The part of me that concentrated my English major in drama and theater is really intrigued now by what adding or removing a prop can do to change a show.
